How long it takes to create a wedding invitation
Half of our invitations are ready in less than a day and a half after the order; cumulatively, 72% are ready within three days and 88% within a week. It takes longer when the photos aren't chosen yet or the couple adds several languages. Ordering 1–2 months before the wedding is comfortable, but we can make it in a few days too.

Real turnaround times
We measured the time from the order to the moment the invitation can be sent to guests. The sample is 374 invitations.

The numbers are cumulative: the 72% within three days already include the 40% that were ready on the first day.
The median is about a day and a quarter. In other words, half of the couples get their finished invitation in less than a day and a half.
Why the rest take longer
The 12% that take longer than a week are almost always held up for one of three reasons — and none of them is technical.
The photos haven't been chosen. The most common reason. The couple orders the invitation before getting the pictures from their photographer, or simply hasn't decided which ones to use. The work isn't waiting on us — it's waiting on that step.
Several languages. Each additional language means translation and a review by a manager. One language is quick; three add a day or two.
The details aren't final. The venue isn't confirmed, the ceremony time is still moving, nobody knows whether there'll be transport. We can build the invitation and update the details later, but that means another round.
What speeds it up
One thing helps more than anything else: send the photos together with your order. When they're already there, most invitations are ready the same day.

When to order
According to our data, couples contact us a median of 61 days before the wedding. A quarter of them — 36 days or less.

The margin matters less for us than for your guests. You can send invitations three days before the wedding, but not everyone will reply — people simply won't have time to plan.
Sending isn't the end of the work
Something many people don't know: the work doesn't end when you send the link to your guests.
The ceremony time changed? You found a typo in a name? Better photos arrived? We update it right up to the wedding, and your guests' links stay the same — nothing has to be sent twice.
So there's no point in putting off the order until “everything is certain”. Everything is rarely certain even a week before the wedding.
